A body variant with fixed system

In addition to the body variant with demountable body system (IES), a fixed body variant (FS) is also available. This FS system (Fixed System) uses the same modular design and can be fitted with any of the VDL Translift loading modules. This means that the collection and efficiency benefits of the sideloaders are now also available to users who cannot deploy a logistics solution.

The FS variant consists of a permanently fitted load compartment with a capacity of 10 m3 to 32 m3. It is easy to empty by means of a hopper with compactor unit which functions as an ejector plate and is available with a block or screw compactor. Because there is no need to tipp the body, the result is a stable, compact verhicle combination that is easy to clean and maintain.
